The Red Budd Gospel Choir was founded out of the vision of Luther Barnes.
They are one of the most influential choirs in Gospel music. Under the direction of their founder Luther Barnes, these anointed voices continue to sing songs that change lives.
The choir compose of members of the Barnes Family. Deborah Barnes is one of the lead female vocalist of the group with her many talents she has been mentored in the music ministry by her cousin Luther and together they share the fame in the song "Still Holding On." The group consist of, Lisa Barnes, Wanda Barnes-Morgan, Bonita Barnes-Greene and other members. They are highly recognized of the national charts for production of eight CD's along with DVD's. Their album "So Satisfied" with received the prestigious Choir of the Year award at the 1989 Gospel Music Workshop of America Convention hosted by the late Rev. James Cleveland. Their hit "Some How Some Way" was nominated for a 2007 Stellar Award. The group has appeared and traveled across the United States, singing and ministering.
